What is Rotaract?

Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. The effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. Rotaractors have access to the many resources of Rotary International (RI) and the Rotary Foundation. Rotary International provides the administrative support that helps Rotaract clubs thrive.

Mission Statement

Rotaract provides an opportunity for Greater Los Angeles’s young professional leaders to promote responsible citizenship, develop professional skills and employ effective leadership by offering venues to learn from proven leaders, network with committed young professionals, and serve the needs of community.

District 5280

Rotaract District 5280 encompasses the ten Rotaract clubs in the Greater Los Angeles area, stretching from San Pedro to the Valley and as far east as Downey. Members can participate in their local communities at the club level, and work with other Rotaract and Rotary clubs in the district on collaborative projects. The District Board is tasked with maintaining communication between the individual clubs and the Rotary District.
